Breast cancer awareness night market in Dubai this weekend
Night market, talks and food trucks at Burj Plaza on Friday October 13
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and master property developer EMAAR is launching a huge fundraising event on Friday October 13.
Pink Bazaar at Burj Plaza on Friday night (hosted by Shams EMAAR) will be filled with a huge night market and the promise of food trucks, which we like the sound of. Donations raised through the evening will go to the work being done in breast cancer research by charities Brest Friends and Al Jalila Foundation. That means your donations and your input will help lead to potential breakthroughs in care and awareness.
But Pink Bazaar isn’t just about food and retail. Over the course of the evening, there will be an area set up for dedicated, inspirational talks to help educate and inform guests about all aspects of Breast Cancer, and how you can go about keeping healthy.
Expect talks from doctors from Al Jalila Foundation on how to conduct self-examinations, while a survivor will also be sharing her inspiring story. Meanwhile, Life ‘n One wellness centre will be providing a talk on holistic wellness.
Engage with the community, bring your friends and family along, and help to do your bit for two fantastically worthwhile causes. The event runs from 4pm until 9.30pm, with talks scheduled to run from 5.30pm until 7.10pm. Check out the event’s Facebook page via bit.ly/2zbRYuJ
