Fully understand Time Out's decisions couldnt give it to Verre three years runing and it's about time we looked at another cuisine rather than european. Noble House is excellent (maybe not the best yet, but in time who knows) so i guess give it to them. Not a critical decision but a fair one.

I'm shocked that TimeOut Dubai would select Noble House at Raffles as the Restaurant of the Year. The outlet has only been open 3 months! Hardly time to prove that they can remain consistent against the competition. Granted re the other awards particularly newcomer but don't you think you guys are insulting the restaurant industry by selecting a restaurant that even in their own publicity material says it was a shock since they have only been open a short time. Maybe a rethink of your criteria. To qualify for restaurant of the year and not make a mockery of the awards, I think the outlet should atleast be operating for a year. Food for thought!!
