There are two things guaranteed to unite everybody at Time Out Towers.

A Star Wars movie night and a good old fashioned dance off.

Which is why we were delighted when the 400 club announced the Star Warriors night.

Sometimes labeled “Dubai’s most beautiful crowd” 400 club regulars will be taking on an intergalactic appearance this weekend.

The usual “dress to impress” rules apply, but turn up dressed in a Star Wars theme and you could expect to win a prize.

You’re probably more likely to impress as a groovy Han Solo than a Jabba The Hut. But maybe you could pull it off.

Check out the AMAZING video (below) to find out why Chewbacca is the lord of the Star Wars disco.

Should there be more theme nights at Dubai clubs? What would you like to see in Dubai?

Time Out is taking over Home at The Lodge on April 25th and has secured the services of yet another top international act.

Razorlight are now confirmed as the headline DJs for the indie room at Time Out’s festival.

It is only a DJ set - the guitars are staying strictly in their cases - but the chance to see members of one of Britain’s most promising indie bands behind the decks is one not to be missed.

D on’t know Razorlight? You should. Check out their hit record by pressing play on the video screen below:

Razorlight join the world’s best hip hop DJ, Ca$h Money, and house legends Masters At Work as Time Out’s festival headliners.

You can also see about a dozen local DJs and bands, firebreathers, stiltwalkers and some living statues at the club. Like all good festivals we will be selling hot dogs and sarnies as well.

The Trilogy nightclub has shut down. The rumours are true.

The Madinat Jumeirah club recently introduced a member’s only scheme and will be terminating the memberships.

The club website currently has this message for clubbers:

Please be informed that as of February 24th, Trilogy will be closing its doors for redevelopment. We are currently looking into different options for this unique venue, and we will be happy to share these with you in due course.

Unfortunately these plans will entail the termination of all memberships as we do not intend to reopen as a night club. All membership applications currently under process will also be terminated.

If you have any questions regarding the closure, please contact our Trilogy hotline on 050 558 3053. We apologise for any inconvenience we have caused, and thank you for your support and understanding.

The Trilogy Team

So, it is not going to open up as a nightclub. I’m hoping for a full scale, multiple team laser quest arena. Or a permanent home for the Krystal Dinner Show.

But it will probably be a restaurant. Because that is what Dubai really needs - another high class restaurant.

Tell us what you want to replace Trilogy by adding a comment below.

Time Out will forward your suggestions to the Jumeirah hotel group.

Dance floor or laser quest arena?

Upstairs lounge or Kabaret VIP?

Tiesto is to dance music what Tiger Woods is to golf, Elton John is to piano pop or Antony Worrall Thompson is to bearded celebrity chefs.

He is, in short, a legend.

A record bag full of awards, a live performance at the Sydney Olympics and a Reebok shoe named after him attest to that.

What’s more he is going to be putting the Madinat Arena under his trance next week.

If the name alone isn’t enough to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, check out this video and they will probably start dancing.

Time Out has blagged three pairs of free tickets and we are giving them away to dance-loving readers. Click here to be in with a chance to win.

Terms such as ‘legend’ and ‘hero’ and ‘absolutely brilliant’ are used with an alarming frequency these days.

But Time Out has uncovered a superstar in Dubai for whom the descriptions are a perfect fit.

He is already an Internet phenomena at Time Out towers and has earned the nickname of the Dancing Man of Dubai.

Since the video first appeared on YouTube the Dancing Man of Dubai has been watched thousands of times.

The only things we know about him is that he appears to be in a bar in Deira.

And he is a very good dancer. Check out his moves here:

This is somebody who really knows how to have a good time and party.

Truly a legendary Dubai hero. Absolutely brilliant!
