The following is a guideline to assist you in providing advertisement artwork
for the entire portfolio of ITP market leading publications.
Please Note: ITP will no longer accept colour separations.
Preferred formats are EPS or TIFF.
Colour Bitmap Images - CMYK, effective resolution of 300dpi
Greyscale Images, effective resolution of 300dpi
Monochrome bitmap images (linework), effective resolution of 1200dpi
An appropriate space should be allowed for bleed if your advertisement should
require it (normally 5mm)
QuarkXPress (up to version 5.0)
The QuarkXPress application should be supplied in a folder that also contains
all the relevant elements that are required for successful output (images
and fonts). Please ensure that all images are linked to the document and
you carry out a QuarkXPress Collect for Output prior to supplying it to
us. All images should conform to the specifications listed under Bitmap
Image Files
Colour Space: CMYK - colour bitmap images effective resolution
of 300dpi - greyscale images effective resolution of 300dpi - monochrome
bitmap images (linework) effective resolution of 1200dpi.
Please also provide ALL fonts used in the QuarkXPress document.
An appropriate space should be allowed for bleed if your advertisement should
require it (normally 5mm)
Adobe Illustrator (up to version 10)
All fonts should be outlined and embedded. Any imported graphic images should
be CMYK and conform with the specifications listed under Bitmap Image Files.
Please do not use JPEG formatted images within Adobe Illustrator files.
If any images have not been embedded, then please include Colour Space:

PDF - Composite PDF files with all fonts embedded. All
PDF files should be supplied in single and not multiple page format.

Please ensure this proof was generated from the file that you are supplying
us. e.g if you are supplying us with a PDF ensure the hard copy was generated
from the PDF and not the file from which it was created.
