Zac Efron plays a soldier in this adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks novel. After a near-miss in Iraq, his character Logan returns from his third tour of duty, convinced that he was saved by a photo of a girl (Taylor Schilling) he’s never met. Resolving to find his lucky charm, he takes a job at the kennels run by her family and well, you can guess most of what happens next. Released worldwide next week, there’s a premiere screening at
