Let it never be said that Capcom (the video game developer/publisher) hasn’t got its mileage out of the Street Fighter franchise (I’ve personally lost years of my life to its various incarnations). Perennial nemesis Bison (Neal McDonough) – suddenly Irish – breaks up the family of Chun-Li (Kristin Kreuk).

She enlists the help of the mystical Gen, portrayed by Robin Shou – whom you may remember as Liu Kang from Mortal Kombat. Fighting ensues. This painful background tale of the schoolgirl master of the really slow fireball attack almost makes one yearn for the days of Jean-Claude Van Damme.
