Following on from the two previous installments, this moderately successful computer-animated franchise brings back the same characters (Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth, Scrat the squirrel) and most probably the same jokes (Scrat is still faffing about with his beloved acorn from the first film). There is, however, the introduction of sexy sabre-toothed squirrel Scratte to give him something new to obsess over, and an underground world of dinosaurs where we meet dino-hunting weasel Buck, voiced by Simon Pegg. Expect largely mediocre family entertainment.
