We don’t mean to boast but look at the records we’ve broken in Dubai…

World’s largest poster: The poster by the runways of Dubai International Airport is 20,000 square meters in size and measures 200 by 100 metres, making it the world’s largest.
World’s largest dessert buffet: We can also claim the title of the world’s largest dessert buffet set by the Emirates Culinary Guild. There were 2232 dessert delicacies, at the dinner held on May 1 2009.
World’s largest gathering of people sharing the same name: Between 1,500 and 2,000 "Mohammeds" assembled in Dubai Creek Park in February 2005.
World’s largest coin-like medallion: This record was set by Damas. Made from silver and plated with 22-carat gold, it measures 1m (39.37 in) in diameter and 2.3 cm (0.9 in) thickness, and weighs 185.88 kg.
World's longest fully automated driver-less rail system : It’s the Dubai Metro and, as with every other record here, we created it here. A big pat on the back for Dubai, we think.
