He might look a bit like your uncle these days, but Eric Clapton can certainly work a fretboard like he’s still in his twenties. One of Yas Arena’s most hotly anticipated gigs so far this year, the rock ’n’ roll legend belted out classic crowd-pleasers such as ‘Layla’, ‘Crossroads’, and ‘Wonderful Tonight’ to an adoring sea of fans. I went to the Eric Clapton concert and for most part I was pleased and when he went off prior to his finale I expected him to play Leyla in the rock form. I and many others went away feeling very dissapointed that he never performed Leyla. It would have been the icing on the cake.

Better with age? It seems so. Was near to his best. Almost jumped on a plane to Singapore to see it all again. Hope he returns!

I agree with the comments, great concert. But a pity many people missed the begining due to its start time being advertised as 10.00 pm, when the man walked on stage at 8.30!!!!
When will Dubai promoters get it right??????
