Röyksopp flipped the Chill Out Festival on its head last weekend. The Norwegian electro-dance outfit shook up a packed beach crowd with a lively set, which kicked off the moment Röyksopp frontman Torbjørn Brundtland took to the stage, raising his fist in the air and yelling ‘let’s rock’. From then on, the duo shook the mellow vibe to its core. DJ Liminal Roots, Midival Punditz, DJ Matthew Hawtin and Felix Martin of Hot Chip also impressed on day one of the two-part dance festival. The second half was headlined by the oddly dressed queen of neo-soul Erykah Badu, backed up by Kaleidoscope, AIM feat Niko, The Cinematic Orchestra, Matthew Herbert and David Craig.
