Swedish rockers dressed for success at World Trade Centre

‘It must have been love, but it’s over now…’ Alas, yes, it’s over, Roxette. The age-defying, leather pants-wearing Scandinavian pop duo have left Dubai: all that remains are the catchy choruses on loop in our heads. Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson both put on a phenomenal performance, the 52-year-olds proving that they could still rock it out in the old-school style. We left thoroughly impressed by the act and organiser M Premiere’s efforts, but disappointed by the poor acoustics and the lacklustre crowd. If you want to stand and stare at your BlackBerry, what’s the point of buying a ticket?

Can't argue with the post above regarding the organization level.
BUT i enjoyed ROXETTE's music, performance! I stood in the queu singing to the songs, watching the screens. Thanks for bringing Roxette to Dubai!

I went to the concert! And this is the worst event (on organization level) i have been to in Dubai!!! the general or regular area was small!! Crammed as if we are sheep standing in a 2x2m barn!! The F&B outlets where dramatically slow and limited to serve the crowd!! We cued for 1 hour to get the drinks!! And if you the organizers where going to segregate regular in this limited location then don’t charge us 300DHS!!! Finally the closing act what the hell was that! i really didn’t want to leave on DJ tunes!! We ran out so we don’t loose the echoing sounds of Roxette in our ears!!
PS the sound quality was crap!!! if you were standing to the outmost right/left u can barely hear anything!!!
