Ministry creator Justin Berkmann rang in anniversary in Dubai

Being bald and slightly ginger is not usually a combination for extreme popularity – unless, of course, you happen to be Justin Berkmann. The unassuming Londoner might not share the same headlines as glitzy global DJs, but he is arguably one of dance music’s most important players: he set up Ministry of Sound in London’s Elephant and Castle 20 years ago. To celebrate the landmark anniversary of the club and its stratospheric success over two decades, Berkmann graced the decks of XL Beach Club last weekend. Such a high-profile event garnered plenty of interest from Dubai’s clubbing community, and the beachside venue ensured there were plenty of scantily-clad lovelies to add a visual element to the energetic dance tracks being pumped out by the London stalwart and clubbing legend. Here’s to another 20 years.
