Get your free 3D specs with this week’s Time Out Dubai
This week’s Time Out Dubai magazine has taken on a third dimension! It seems you can’t watch a movie these days without being handed a pair of 3D specs, so we thought we’d join in the fun. Great idea, Time Out, to have 3D glasses.
But REALLY irritating to get our copy at Carrefour in the Mall of the Emirates with no glasses and then a battle to get our money refunded.
No one in the shop knew about the glasses, by the way.
So still without the Christmas issue.....

Hi Timeout Dubai,
While I applaud the initiative to do a 3D version, I have to say that it contains some really bad 2d to 3d converted images.
There is also "Pseudo 3D" evident on the souk image (parts of the background and foreground at wrong depth etc). also we try not to use deep red, it just looks awful with red-cyan 3d glasses. you usually post process it to a rust color to balance the reds.
Sorry,..i;m a stickler for good and audience headache free stereoscopic 3D :-)
But at least future editions will benefit!
