Top 10 budget restaurants
4 Comments 19 March 2012 Betawi Café: It seems odd that the food of Indonesia, the world’s fourth most populous nation, is so under-represented here in Dubai. This said, the one restaurant we know of that does serve the archipelago’s culinary creations is excellent, and affords diners the chance to rub shoulders with Indonesian sailors in Karama’s back streets. We recommend you try the sate ayam aka marinated chicken skewers.
4b Street (behind Ministry of Health), Karama (04 357 6245 / 056 759 8118).

Try Thai Wok in Al-Barsha. They do authentic Thai Food. I like to have Stir Fried Chicken with Cashewnuts, Tom Yum soup and prawn purse in appetizer. It is a small informal place. They are also good at delivery. Good value for money. -

I have been eating at Betawi since they opened this branch a few years ago and have always been going back for more. At times I get stuck on my favourite dish and then discover that the other dishes are also amazing... I can't wait until they open their express branch in Emirates Towers Metro station....Keep up the good work.
