29 ways we love Dubai
3 Comments 20 March 2012The inaccessible becomes accessible
While Dubai is perceived to be a playground for the rich, in reality it’s a place where everyone can feel like a (minor) celeb – whether it’s living somewhere with sea views (many of us do – just think what that would cost back home!), attending glitzy events such as the Dubai World Cup (the world’s richest horserace coming up on Saturday March 31), and seeing über-famous acts, such as Elton John (Thursday March 29) and Madonna (Saturday April 3) play accessible, affordable gigs in very nearby Abu Dhabi.

any of the things you mentioned can be true for some people in Dubai depending on their mood, their culture or their interests. but everyone in Dubai agrees that Taxis are sooo EXPENSIVE!
