I can escape to the desert at any time
Dubai is a city that has risen out of the sand, and sometimes it’s great to rediscover its origins. I love the fact that you can drive in pretty much any direction away from the ocean, and before long you’ll reach the rippling dunes and emptiness of the desert. I find it’s a welcome reminder of where I am in the world, and it’s a joy to think that we have such a vast ‘playground’ on our doorstep. Don’t have a car? well, this is definitely a big LIE :P
any of the things you mentioned can be true for some people in Dubai depending on their mood, their culture or their interests. but everyone in Dubai agrees that Taxis are sooo EXPENSIVE!
