Judge Jules at XL Beach Club

There’s a solid reason why the Judge (Jules is a law graduate, geddit?!) has long been known as one of the most consistent performers on the UK club circuit and the Ibiza summer scene. Why? Because quality plays quality, which was exemplified on Friday. A very healthy crowd gathered around the pool at XL Beach Club, getting down to the pro’s supreme mixing, which included Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’ and Eurythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams’, Above & Beyond’s ‘Breaking Ties’ (fast becoming one of the most dropped tunes this year) and Ibiza classic ‘Rapture’ by New York dance-music duo Iio. This was, altogether, a more energised, contemporary Jules than the one who visited N’Dulge last December. The verdict? The Judge is better for it.
