Five things to do with: a potato

An oldie but a goodie – and something you can roll out for practically every holiday, simply by adjusting the theme. Take a few medium-sized spuds. Cut them cross-ways through the middle, and stick a cookie-cutter deep into the cut end. Then, using a sharp knife, cut away the potato around the shape of the cookie cutter. Once you remove the cutter, you should have a perfect stamp shape. Then, simply dip the end in paint and stamp away! Kids can get creative by making their own gift wrapping paper, tags, cards and suchlike.
