Metal fans braved the slightly sweaty weather on Thursday to see Dave Mustaine and his gang of straggly-haired musicians shredding their guitars at Gulf Bike Week. The crowd wasn’t as big as expected, but they soon warmed up as Megadeth squealed their way through hits including ‘Symphony of Destruction’, ‘Hangar 18’ and ‘À Tout Le Monde’. Before the headliners took the stage, mischievous rockers Sandwash served up some teen pop-punk, while local metallers Absolace let themselves down with too many sloppy mistakes.
