Atelier/Festival ‘New Year’s Eve Edition’
Atelier’s third festival bill stars a headline set from genuine rap legend Snoop Dogg – although he’s now launched a new career as a reggae artist under the name ‘Snoop Lion’, so we’re not sure what to expect. Meanwhile there’s a soundsystem set from Gorillaz (minus Damon Albarn), while Sister Bliss – who closed Sandance NYE last year – returns this time with Maxi Jazz to make up one half of Faithless for a live PA/DJ set. There’s also superstar DJ Armand Van Helden seeing us into the night, alongside singers Inna and September. Phew.
