The package includes a two-night stay at the luxury Dar Al Masyaf villas as well as all meals and snacks, use of hotel and Talise Spa facilities and educational seminars.
Though the focus of the retreat is yoga (retreat-goers will participate in more than six hours of yoga in total), the stay also includes a cooking class and talks on nutrition and digestion. ‘Both days will have seminars, classes and educational sessions, including a lifestyle talk about finding the right balance in life,’ she says.
The retreat is open to yogis of all levels, though Anzaldo says that it’s not suitable for beginners with no yoga experience. ‘Throughout the weekend various different yoga methods will be practised, sessions will range from invigorating yoga to awaken the body and mind, to toning and strengthening for the body, detoxifying yoga to promote wellness, atmospheric yoga on the beach at sunset for relaxation,’ she says.
