These are some of the first images of the new luxury resort which has opened on the Palm Jumeirah – and offers guests the chance to sleep in rooms suspended above the Arabian Gulf on stilts.
The Anantara Dubai the Palm Resort & Spa boasts 293 guest rooms – including 130 rooms which have direct access to 10,000m² of lagoon pools.
Even further up the scale, affluent guests can stay at one of 12 beach villas, three Royal Beach Villas, or in one of 18 over-water villas suspended over the ocean — the first of their kind in the Middle East.
Facilities include a 400-metre private beach, three natural lagoons, a shoreline infinity pool, Anantara Spa, two tennis courts and a ballroom accommodating 300 people next to the private beach.
And non-guests can enjoy the resort’s six new restaurants and bars, including Middle Eastern venue Crescendo, an Asian restaurant called Mekong, the Bushman’s Australian Grill and The Lotus Lounge bar.
Expect to read more about these venue’s here soon.
