Make the most of a fantastic, event-filled weekend in Dubai
Time Out Dubai staff
Thursday 29 Black Sabbath in Abu Dhabi Just over 35 years since Ozzy Osbourne was fired from the band, the reunited Black Sabbath of Ozzy, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler (founding drummer Bill Ward is sadly absent) reach the Middle East for the first time, plugging last year’s 13 – the band’s first new LP with Ozzy since the aforementioned firing. These guys basically wrote the rule book for what heavy metal came to be – both musically and in their OTT attitudes – so expect lots of earnest tributes to one of music’s ugliest, but most-endearing genres.
