Posh Chinese nosh at
The Address. Great food, and fabulous surroundings, make this the perfect, if pricey, place to celebrate.
The décor’s a bit dated but the food here easily makes up for it. Definitely a mid-priced option to try if you’re in the Garhoud area.
Another posh spot with atmosphere a-plenty and amazing food to justify the hefty prices. A fitting spot to celebrate the New Year.
Noodle Bowl: This Cantonese joint serves up delicious, and generous, portions of noodle-heavy favourites. The atmosphere’s more fast-food than fine-dining making it an ideal budget option.
Summer Place: Dubai’s oldest Chinese restaurant, has a surprisingly modern feel, and a very tempting menu. One of the city’s most Zen spots.
Thai Chi: There is no better place to go for a good Chinese, if your dining party’s not a fan, than Thai Chi. You can tuck into your favourites while they enjoy a selection of equally tasty Thai specialities.
Zheng Hes: Known as one of Dubai’s best, and in pretty sumptuous surroundings, Zheng He’s Bejing Duck is legendary. Go forth and tuck in.
Highway Inn: Bargain buffet-style Chinese grub. Perfect for those puckish days or eyes bigger than stomach moments.
Mak’s food: There’s a pack ‘em high mentality in this popular spot but it’s worth squeezing in for the gorgeous street grub and bargain prices.
China Club: Known as a popular spot with the older crowd, the food is far from dull. Great food, and unusually good service.
