She’s also an Adele tribute act, one of at least 21 reasons she’s such a hit. Free. Fri-Sat 9pm. Garhoud (04 282 4750).
Live Room at Sofitel Dubai Downtown A neighbour of chic Peruvian eatery Inka, Live Room is a new arrival to the Dubai scene and already making its mark. Mike Ross at McGettigan’s DWTC The Scottish singer is so effortless in his delivery you’d be forgiven for thinking he doesn’t care. However, his seeming nonchalance can’t mask some serious talent, which he displays several nights a week at the World Trade Centre branch of this much-loved Irish chain. Ladies, head over between 8pm and 10pm on a Wednesday and you’ll get five free drinks, too. Free. Wed 8pm. Dubai World Trade Centre, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 378 0800).
