LOL a lot at The Laughter Factory This weekend will prove to be a funny one, with John Maloney, JoJo Smith and Jeff Innocent all dishing out the jokes at the Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach. Sample some world flavours at Hopfest Dubai’s biggest hops festival is back for 2017, and it’s happening this weekend. More than 100 global brands will be taking part this year, with hops from around the world on show. Think Irish, Belgian, German, English, Italian, Asian and Australian creations, so you can go on a globetrotting tour of flavours. Music comes from The Maplejacks, Roadie, Fixer and others.
By heading down to Hopfest 2017 early, you’ll benefit from greater discounts. On Thursday September 7 you’ll get 25 percent discount on drinks vouchers when you buy a book of ten (you’ll get them for Dhs300 instead of Dhs400). That offer only lasts until 7pm, though, so get in early otherwise the full rate will apply. A minimum of four vouchers must be bought on entry – costing a total of Dhs160.
On Friday September 8 and Saturday 9, ten vouchers will cost Dhs400, and while four vouchers must be bought to enter the festival on Friday, only two need to be bought for entry on Saturday (costing Dhs80). Individual drinks vouchers can be bought for Dhs45 all weekend, and on Saturday September 9, free food will be available between noon and 2pm for everyone. Pub food will be available through the rest of the festival.
