Fiesta de los Muertos ft. Gorillaz, Stormzy and Carly Rae Jepsen In what will likely be the weekend’s biggest party, the Autism Rocks Arena will be playing host to a massive Halloween bash, with a brilliant line-up of massive international acts, topped by Damon Albarn’s legendary virtual band, Gorillaz. With massive tunes like Clint Eastwood, Feel Good Inc and DARE, it’s promising to be one of the biggest performances of the year – and half a dozen special guests have been confirmed, including Pos from renowned hip-hop act De La Soul.
But the Gorillaz fun won’t begin until UK grime star Stormzy, Carly Rae Jepsen and The Mariachis (of Dorito TV ad fame) among others take to the huge skull-shaped stage.
Fan Pit and VIP tickets have already sold out, so don’t hang around if you want a piece of the action. Tickets start from Dhs350. Addressing any potential congestion for the event, the organisers have confirmed a free bus service will operate taking guests out of the arena and to Dubai Opera House, The Address Marina and Deira City Centre. Limited parking is available, so guests are recommended to take RTA transportation to the event.

Wow That’s What I Call Brunch ft Peter Andre and Whigfield Peter Andre will be headlining the party brunch on Friday 27 October, and bringing megahit Mysterious Girl with him, along with huge tracks Insania and Flava. If you’re also a fan of Whigfield’s Saturday Night, then you might want to get booking your tickets for one of biggest throwback gigs of the year.

Vivaldianno Get ready for a musical experience like nothing before, because Ras Al Khaimah is putting on the highest concert in the country.
Taking classical music to new heights, quite literally, is a one-off event on Friday October 27 showcasing Vivaldianno – City of Mirrors. It’s promising to be a visual spectacle as well as an aural one, with the baroque masterpiece being paired with a 3D light show.
The show will be taking place on a specially constructed mountain stage, some 1,600 metres above sea level. A large orchestra will cover classical and art-rock instrument sections, with the show featuring large-format projections in front of and behind the performance areas. Dappy at Armani Privé and XL Dubai Fans of UK grime and R&B trio N-Dubz, everyone’s favourite Sherpa hat-wearing Londoner, Dappy, is coming to Dubai. His first show will be live at the iconic Burj Khalifa’s Armani Privé nightclub on Thursday 26. With the club home to CODE every Thursday, Dappy follows other DJ and artists including Tim Westwood, Jhus and Donae’o to have played at the club. He then goes on to the XL Dubai Halloween Edition on Friday October 27, the huge Halloween bash which is back for its third edition. Catch the end of Oktoberfest Bars up and down the city are donning their lederhosen, polishing the steins, preparing some pretzels and cooking up some currywurst. Live on the Lakes 2 at Irish Village ft The Pretenders, Heather Small and Aswad Legendary pop rock band The Pretenders are in town on Thursday October 26, bringing classic hits Brass in Pocket and Back on the Chain Gang. The band’s founder, Chrissie Hynde recently announced the band is back for a 2017 tour to promote new album, Alone, and October’s Dubai visit will come off the back of a 14-night UK tour.
Joining The Pretenders is lead singer of ’90s pop sensation M People, Heather Small. With classic hits such as Moving On Up, Search For The Hero and Proud, Small will bringing some feel good tunes to Dubai.
Completing the line-up for this triple header is Aswad, the UK-based reggae and dub group responsible for massive tunes including Don’t Turn Around and Shine. Halloween special at Bongo’s Bingo The epic bingo party night, which has taken the UK by storm and which has been enormously popular since it first launched in Dubai earlier this year, is returning once again to the city, but this time with a Halloween theme.
On Thursday October 26, be prepared to be spooked at this already a rather bonkers night out. Expect ghouls and ghosts at the riotous party, to be held once again at Media One Hotel’s ON42. This Halloween edition promises to be a spine-tingling, bone-shaking, nerve-shredding load of fun, which only the bravest should attend.
Frankie’s Comedy Cellar The comedy club is back this weekend with another edition of its “Dine and Laugh” event in JBR.
