It’s the weekend – hurrahs all round. It’s time to hit the town and there are a tonne of massive events dedicated to making this weekend a big one. From global superstar Ed Sheeran’s massively anticipated gig at Autism Rocks Arena, to some stand-up comedy, big brunches and a biannual shopping festival – there’s so much going on that you’ll be spoilt for choice.

3-Day Super Sale Dubai’s 3-Day Super Sale is returning for its highly anticipated second edition before the end of the month, and there’s a huge opportunity to get your hands on some incredible discounts. More than 250 brands at more than 1,000 outlets are currently signed up to take part in the sales, which land between Thursday November 23 and Saturday 25. Blue Marlin’s Fashion Brunch The Balearic beach club is hosting a one-off fashion brunch on Saturday November 25, where the entire club will be transformed into a “fashion arena”, from the terrace to the beach. The team behind it says the club will play host to “the movers, shakers and trend setters of the UAE”, with a special fashion runway being set up to showcase some of the latest ranges from leading swimwear brands. Ed Sheeran There are few gigs that whipped up as much of a frenzy as Ed Sheeran’s pending arrival did. The singer-songwriter has been here before, but Sheeran’s career has absolutely skyrocketed in the years since his 2015 visit. El Chiringuito at F1 Ibiza export and Palm Jumeirah beach club El Chiringuito is taking over at Yas Beach for the F1 weekend. There are a range of activities hitting the club on Friday November 25 until Sunday 27, including standard beach access from noon costing Dhs150 per person, with a special brunch (“The Race Edition”) on Saturday 26 between 1pm and 5pm. Frankie’s Comedy Cellar Frankie’s host Simeon Goodson has assembled the perfect team to tickle your comedic taste buds this weekend. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Goodson is widely regarded as one of the top comedians in the country, having performed in the comedy clubs of NYC since 2004 and as the opening act on Hanibal Burress’s Comedy Camisado Tour.
Live from Frankie’s JBR, Frankie’s comedy cellar hosts a rotating cast of comedians and a lot of offers from 6-8pm. The house band will also be on hand to keep the happy vibes rolling. Siddharta Lounge by Buddha-Bar Siddharta Lounge by Buddha-Bar at Grosvenor House in Dubai Marina has partnered with Ibiza Global Radio for a season of monthly of parties, with the second event due to take place tonight (Thursday November 23). Taking place on the rooftop terrace, with cracking views out around the Dubai Marina area from the Siddharta pool deck, you can head to a pumping night of massive beats with a tonne of top resident Ibiza DJs coming to town.
The whole night will also be broadcast live on Ibiza Global Radio TV too, kicking off from 5pm and running through until midnight. You can pick up a range of drinks packages which vary through the night. The Thirsty Games at McGettigan’s JLT Following on from its brilliant September debut, The Thirsty Games is back at McGettigan’s JLT on Thursday November 23. Venetian Carnival As part of Italian Festival Week, Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre in Garhoud will be rounding the week off by transforming the hotel into a Venetian Carnival on Saturday November 25. The event will host food stalls and beverage stands with live acts and entertainment – it’s free to enter and will run from noon through until 9.30pm.
