Benny Benassi at Barasti Set in Barasti Beach’s huge venue, Dubai’s Sound Collective Festival is returning to give people three days of electrifying EDM tunes. Grammy award-winning DJ Benny Bennasi will be headlining the festival, pumping out some techno-heavy beats. Think that’s all? The rest of the weekend will see DJ and producer Quintino, the Belgian producer Yves V, and the Dutch rising star Dante Klein keeping the party alive. Free. 8pm-3am. Until Apr 7. Carbonara Day Pasta-lovers, get ready. Comic Con Finally, the place where superhero costumes run rampant and geeking out is a regular occurrence returns, as the 7th Middle East Film and Comic Con will set up shop for an entire weekend from Thursday April 5 to Saturday 7 at Dubai World Trade Centre. Chase & Status land With this drum’n’bass band kicking off April, we’re in for one riveting month. K-Pop This weekend sees the best of K-Pop descend on Dubai for a huge festival at Autism Rocks Arena. No fewer than 11 world-famous acts will be taking to the stage on Friday (April 6) for more than four hours of non-stop K-Pop in what promises to be an event like no other. The line-up includes Kangta, BoA, Trax, TVXQ, Super Junior, Henry, Girl Generation, Shinee, F(X), EXO and Red Velvet, and it’s fair to say that our expectations are high.
