Conrad Dubai Joining Sheikh Zayed Road’s strip of five-star hotels, Conrad Dubai is now looking set to finally open its doors in November, but hype is already surrounding the outlets it will house. Marco Pierre White Grill will mark the celebrity chef’s third foray into the city’s culinary scene, while elsewhere in the property, diners will be able to sample Sicilian cuisine at Ballarò, Latin American cuisine at Izel, grape beverages, cheeses and ‘Parisian soulfood’ at Cave bar and unwind into the small hours at Suga. Dubai Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf Located on Dubai’s Oud Metha Road, this hotel is part of ‘phase II’ of Dubai Healthcare City, and will offer 310 rooms and 42 suites when it opens this month. It will also be home to a ‘30s China-themed bar, Shanghai 30, an Italian restaurant called Merletto, Scots American Grill steakhouse and Japanese eatery Benshi. Opening September.
