JA Hatta Fort Hotel has been given a facelift and is back in business
One of Dubai’s most unique hotels is set to reveal a massive makeover, propelling it into the 21st century but without losing any of the typically Arabian touches that helped make it so popular with guests.
After four months of painstaking work, the JA Hatta Fort Hotel’s impressive refurb was officially completed on Wednesday March 1. Each of the resort’s 48 deluxe chalet-style rooms, its two suites and pair of villas have been completely revamped, fusing old with new, thanks to the traditional fretwork and modern furniture. Overall, the digs have become more family-friendly, with room enough for two adults and two young children. You’ll arguably be most impressed by the new bathrooms, which include big tubs and climate-controlled showers.
Hatta Fort’s fine-dining restaurant, Jeema, has also been given some love, but will still offer the best of international cuisine along with some cracking live music. And with two swimming pools, a spa, archery range, mini golf course and a mini zoo all set within the 80 acres of gardens, you won’t be stuck for things to do when you take the trip up here.
