Atlantis or, as it’s officially-known, Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai’s very own outpost of the international mega brand.

This aquatic version of Disneyland encompasses 1,373 rooms and 166 suites each designed with the sea, and Atlantis Dubai’s Arabic home in mind.

If you’ve got the cash to splash, forget ocean views, you can actually stay in it. If you book into The Lost Chambers Suites, you won’t be overlooking the ocean, but living in it. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a spectacular view into the Ambassador Lagoon with a mind-boggling array of exotic marine life gracefully gliding by.

Outside the hotel, Atlantis’ Aquaventure waterpark and Dolphin Bay are what attracts most guests to the resort with the opportunity to swim with dolphins and enjoy some of the park’s scariest rides.

If you prefer to stay dry, explore the series of tunnels which make up the underground maze known as The Lost Chambers.

For foodies, Atlantis brings world-famous chefs Michel Rostang, Giorgio Locatelli, Santi Santamaria and Matsuhisa Nobu to our Emirate.

I like the hotel a lot, very nice rooms, restaurant and of course view and location. You feel you are out of Dubai and relaxed. The Lebanese restaurant are very nice, good food, music and they have a singer and dancer

It good for families holday my kids and I spent a lovely time

As previously mentioned by another reviewer, the fact that there are random people walking around taking photos creates a very cheap ambience & constant - & annoying - crowds. The feeling is not of opulence or 5* luxury, but of mass tourism.
Some of the restaurants really do have the possibility to draw in the level of clientele they were originally hoping for, but the service is terrible, with untrained service staff in all the outlets I have been to.
For me, in a city with so many better - & genuinely 5* - hotels, I think that cutting corners in such a manner means that they will lose out on the level of guests they want, & instead will focus on the "all inclusive" crowds.
Is this why they are torturing that poor Whale Shark by keeping him hostage for the past year in a tiny aquarium? Because they dont have any other way to truly draw in the guests????
Shame on the management of the Palm.

this is not a 5 star hotel. me and my partner stayed for 10 days at end of july. l have been going to dubai for 10 years and this is the worst hotel l have stayed at. we arrived at nite and had to queue up 40 mins just to check in then after getting to the room with a splitting headache we waited another 30 mins for the cases to come only for 1 to have been lost took them another 40 mins to locate. not a very good start and our first night wasted. the brekfast was terrable everthing was cold and if you dident get ther before 9.00 am then more queuing like sheep. the hotel was filthy the room was not dusted for 10 days there were dirty nappy's outside rooms and also under sunbeds that would stay there all day long. l no its not the hotels fault that people are dirty enough not to use bins but if these are the sort of gest's that they are attracting then l would rather be somwhere else. the whole place is full of children not ralaxing at all and if thats not bad enough every afternoon all tha locals arrive at the pool and insist on having sunbeds next to the pools and will queit happily move somones things out of the way to get there sunbeds l was on the next row back and saw it lots of times even when gest's were having a swim in the pool they came back to find all there stuff dumped on anothed bed. inside the hotel was no better more like a shopping mall with non gest's of the hotel just walking round taking photo's. the resterants were ok but very overpriced if you want to pay these prices go to the burj that is every bit a 7* hotel not a 5* wanna be. and at the burj it is allways busy so there is a nice atmosphere all the resterants at atlantis were empty so no atmosphere at all. the rooms were very poorly finished not very good quality. they never asked any questions on check in about what we would be useing at the hotel we went to use the gym every day and it was a good 10 min walk from where we were and the lifts are very very slow. l asked for a gest coment card upon checkout only to get given a sheet reading happy gest list. how arrogent of the hotel. the management are completly out of there depth there and have no idea what standards are req for dubai. the grovesnor house is half the price and 10 times the sevice. any one that is use to staying at nice hotels could not posibly recomend the atlantis very very poor.
