Jumeirah Emirates Towers
Business hotel stands out as one of Dubai's picture postcard icons 1 Reviews
The third Dubaian landmark (although some way behind the Burj and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in the postcard stakes), Emirates Towers dominated Sheikh Zayed Road’s skyline until the arrival of the Burj Dubai.
Occupying the taller of the two towers (the other being the most desirable office block in town), the hotel is geared principally to work-trippers and is arguably the best business hotel in the Middle East. A sophisticated lobby lounge – a top people-watching spot – and acres of atrium dominate the ground floor, while the glass lifts that shoot up and down the 52 storeys are a vertigo-inducing delight.
Rooms are sizeable, with attractive dark wood tables, bright soft furnishings, and panoramas that would blow the socks off the most seasoned of travellers. Despite being business focused, the Towers does boast its own large swimming pool, spa, complimentary shuttle and entry to Wild Wadi water park.
