One of Deira’s classiest hotels, the Hilton Creek was designed by Carlos Ott; the brains behind the Opera de la Bastille in Paris. The hotel is also home to Gordon Ramsay’s award-winning restaurant, Verre, sister restaurant the Glasshouse and some buzzy bars.

Glide into the zen-like foyer where peaceful water features lap against glass and gleaming chrome and you enter a world of designer purity. Chances are you’ll either love it or hate it. For some this exercise in modernism is just too cool, but if you want stylish urban chic, this is the place for you.

The large rooms are statements in contemporary luxury, and the huge comfortable beds and ultra-cool black and white bathrooms prove there is substance beyond the style. This Hilton is an excellent choice if you need to stay in Deira.
