Grosvenor House Dubai
Swanky boutique hotel with excellent amenities in the Dubai Marina 1 Reviews
The lobby to this landmark hotel – the first to open in the Marina – is small and swish, with dozens of staff to greet and direct you. With 45 storeys, you’re pretty much guaranteed an excellent view, whether of the sea or the Dubai skyline.
Rooms are spacious, furnished using a brown and cream colour palette, and come complete with the essential plasma TV. An excellent choice for business travellers, Grosvenor House’s rooms have high-speed internet access, and if you want a formal or informal meeting there are plenty of meeting rooms and classy cafés and bars.
There’s a small spa, and after unwinding you can relax even more by heading up to Bar 44 for an aperitif while watching the sunset over the Gulf. If you want to ensure full holiday bragging rights, the Grosvenor is a good choice, but not if you want to walk out of your room and onto the beach. In order to feel the sand between your toes, guests need to take the shuttle to Le Royal Meridien’s beach resort.
