Old and new Arabia meet head first in this traditional-style hotel at the foot of the Burj Dubai 3 Reviews
New Year's Eve offer
A romantic New Year’s Eve dinner at Burj Lake with a view of the fireworks. A chef’s special six-course set menu will be served. Dhs20,015 (with house beverages, minimum two, maximum four people) (Wednesday)
Built in an old-Arabian style, this new hotel is part of a development springing up around the imposing Burj Dubai, which is now the tallest building in the world. This hotel is going to be great when the surrounding construction has finished, but right now, it’s noisy if you’re lying round the pool or wanting to sit on the terraces or balconies. Already the restaurants, Asado an Argintinean steakhouse and Thiptara a Thai restaurant are causing a stir with local residents. The rooms are tasteful, with a modern twist on traditional Arabic design.
Time Out Dubai,
