The Palace, The Old Town

Old and new Arabia meet head first in this traditional-style hotel at the foot of the Burj Dubai Reviews

Built in an old-Arabian style, this new hotel is part of a development springing up around the imposing Burj Dubai, which is now the tallest building in the world. This hotel is going to be great when the surrounding construction has finished, but right now, it’s noisy if you’re lying round the pool or wanting to sit on the terraces or balconies. Already the restaurants, Asado an Argintinean steakhouse and Thiptara a Thai restaurant are causing a stir with local residents. The rooms are tasteful, with a modern twist on traditional Arabic design.

Worst possible buffet at Ewaan or watever. A sheer waste of AED 180. Cold food and AC cold breads section. Possibly can have a better buffet at even the tiniest restaurants anywhere in dubai. Six of us went and luckily not all went for the buffet...saved. Had Shisha..paid our bills and left. Adios Palace.
