I recently visited dubai and stayed in the chelsea tower in January. As this was a family holiday/business trip we decided to opt for the hotel apartment.

This apartment was recommended by a few close friends and so i thought i would check it out, i usually dont stay around sheikh zayed road but because my parents business meetings were close by we decided it was best and also we had the metro at the doorstep.

i am sorry to say that this hotel apartment doesnt live up to its standards, the room wasnt cleaned properly, the basics were missing such as tissues, notepaper pen, and other various items in the rooms.

i was very dissapointed when they told me i had to use my internet in one use and could not log in and log out which i thought was ridiculous as this is not the case in other hotels so they upgraded me with free wifi for 7 days, which i appreciated but the wifi quality was terrible in the room even when we sat near the router.

we also had an incident where the ceiling in the bathroom was leaking due to AC vent or some pipe collecting water.

I paid over 10,000 dirhams for my stay and i was highly dissapointed as i could have gotten a much better deal elsewhere!!

the only good thing about this hotel is the leisure facilities, nice swimming pool (although can be over crowded) and spa facilities (pricey) and the location is amazing, metro on your doorstep and you can go all around the city without any hassle!
