I was a bit skeptical about staying at Grand Moov after reading some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised at how modern and convenient it was. Situated just behind Riqqa road, Grand Moov is just a two minute walk from the action and the rooms are huge and in good condition. I don't normally eat in hotels but decided to try Thai Village as I am a sucker for Thai food and I wasn't disappointed. It's true that the service isn't as polished as some of the five star hotels, but all the staff I met were extremely friendly and this more than made up for any shortfall. WouldI go back? Yes, if their rates stay as low as they were when I stayed in February 2009 I reckon Grtand Moov is probably the best value 4 star in Dubai.
