Enjoy the Green Community Family
Fun Day Head to the Green Community today for a raft of exciting activities at the Family Fun Day. Highlights include a farmers’ market, a flea market and a craft fair offering all sorts of cool buys. Kids can also get in on the act by setting up their own tables (kids’ tables are free), but the rule of thumb is that children can only trade with children. Time for a toy cupboard clear-out, maybe?
Free. 8am-5pm. The Green Community (050 948 3379/050 558 9863).

Head to the Ripe kids’ market
Stock up on a wide range of locally grown, organic fresh fruit and veggies at Dubai Garden Centre today, while the kids enjoy an arts-and-crafts session laid on for free by the Ripe organisers.
Free. Sat 9am-1pm. Dubai Garden Centre, Sheikh Zayed Road. www.ripeme.com (04 340 4440).
