Watch Top Cat in 3D
A blast from the past for parents who remember the antics of New York alley cat TC, this digital take on the original Hanna-Barbera character is bound to be a hit with the kids. Stock up on popcorn and watch as Top Cat, his cronies and good old Officer Dibble attempt to claw back their roles as a robot police force takes over crime fighting in the city. A great weekend treat and one that little ones will enjoy as much as bigger kids.
At all major cinemas.

Friday March 1

Pirates of Dinosaur Island
Perfect for little ones with a prehistoric penchant, this colourful kids’ play tells the story of a mother and baby dinosaur who live peacefully on Dinosaur Island. When pirates discover the island, they also realise the mother is upset because her baby is lost. Cue lots of audience participation, singalong songs, and slapstick comedy – plus a valuable lesson about why little ones need to stay close to their parents.
Dhs150 per person. Daily 1pm and 4pm. Until March 2. Ductac, Mall of the Emirates. www.ductac.org (04 341 4777)

Saturday 2

The whole point behind the event is to promote awareness and integration for children with special needs in the community. No money is raised: it is simply about people getting together and having fun. Last year 4,500 people attended, so expect a good crowd.
