Budget playdates in Dubai
Take your child (and their friend) on a wallet-friendly day out
Visit Mini Monsters play centre on Sheikh Zayed Road for just Dhs35 for one hours play or Dhs50 for two hours play per child every day of the week. The spacious jungle gym and soft play area provides toddlers and under sevens with a wide range of activities to keep them occupied. There’s a drawing area with pens, crayons and coloured sheets and lots more, but you’ll be hard pressed to keep them out of the jungle gym, which is a whopping three storey’s high. There’s also an on-site café, well stocked with home-made cakes and gourmet sandwiches.

For Dhs70 your child and a friend can play for two whole hours at Cheeky Monkeys Playland in Al Barsha Mall. The activities at this huge play centre rage from rock climbing to lego building to soft play in their playground, a kid’s gym, and unlimited arts and crafts in the garden. The kids can also get involved with the Cheeky Monkeys entertainment team and help with interactive activities like puppet shows, mascot visits and dancing shows. There’s a café on site too so you can use your Dhs30 to buy two kids meals.

Located on the first floor at Al Barsha Mall KiddieVille has video games, arts and craft activities, kid friendly rides and a soft play area. With a reputation for providing great value for money they put their money where their mouth is offering a price of Dhs25 per child for one hour of play in the soft play area. It’s located within the food court so there are plenty of food options nearby, many of which offer kids options varying between Dhs10-16 so depending on what the little ones want to eat there’s a fair chance that you may even come in under budget.
