Gulf Star Spring Camp
The folk here are genius at planning camps with a difference – perfect for the monsters who need a more unique take on daytime babysitting! Padi dive course for children over 12, karting and laser tag at the Dubai Autodrome and the standard school-based camps are all covered here.

• Kids 12 years and above can enjoy a full week of diving and beach activities at Jumeirah Beach Hotel & Pavillion Dive Centre for five days from April 6-10 and April 13-17 from 9am-5pm daily. Kids can get their PADI certification, head out paddleboarding, and visit the turtle sanctuary. Packages cost Dh2,400.

• Another more focused activity camp is for kids aged 12-17 years. Drive cars, play sports and feel the need-for-speed at the Dubai Autodrome Spring camp. Dates are From April 6-10 and April 13-17 from 9am-5pm. Packages start at Dh1,900 per child.

• Regular multi-activity camps feature football, gymnastics, basketball, cricket, dodgeball, swimming, water polo, martial arts, dance, drama and arts and crafts and this is suitable for ages 3-13 yrs. Timings are 8am-2.30pm.

Dubai Holiday Camp
These guys are the experts and have options for everyone. Running at a number of Dubai venues across the city they are sure to keep the kids busy for at least part of the Spring break.
Dubai Holiday Camps are packed full of fun activities for kids aged from three to 14, broken down into two age-appropriate brackets. Everything is included in the fee, from sports including netball and cricket, to arts and crafts, drama, cooking classes and much more. There are even day trips for the older children. With a 20 per cent discount for siblings, and a pay-per-day option, it’s a great choice for families of more than one kid – and with so much on offer, there’s guaranteed to be something they’ll all enjoy.

Heartbeat Easter Sports Camp
Running rugby courses throughout the year, these are the guys qualified to look after your child’s every sporting need over the holidays. Taking place at the fancy Bradenton Prep Academy, Dubai Sports City, kids will have the chance to be coached and encouraged by qualified staff across a range sports including netball, tag rugby, football, cricket, gymnastics, basketball and invasion games among others. There’s a discount for siblings and the adrenalin-fuelled camp is suitable for both boys and girls. An interest in sport however is preferred.

Al Tamimi Stables
Al Tamimi Stables is running another exciting children’s camp from April 6-10. Hosted at the recreational retreat in Sharjah, Al Tamimi is a 30 acre farm is home to over 500 domestic and exotic animals, a riding school, petting farm, sports facilities, creativity studios and much more. Take part in their three or five-day camp inclusive of a snack, lunch and refreshments each day. There is a 20 per cent sibling discount to help families. Children up to the age of 12 years will be able to take part in fun and interactive activities including riding, stable management, animal care, environmental appreciation workshops, crafts and more.

Camp Kidville
Making full use of Kidville’s great facilities, the list of activities at Kidville’s spring camp is impressive. From a bit of rough and tumble in the soft gym, music from the Little Maestros, hands-on fun, arts and crafts, there’s something for everyone. The best bit for busy mums and dads is the early drop offs and late pick ups.

Favourite Things Spring Camp
This Dubai favourite is mixing things up this year with a daily theme to keep things interesting for both kids, parents and staff. One day the little things could be fighting underwater aliens in a make-believe mermaid world and the next exploring the great outdoors in a ‘bugs and butterflies’ treasure hunt. Each day will be sure to keep them mesmerised, entertained but most importantly, occupied. Aimed at two to eight year olds (kids under four must be accompanied by an adult carer), rest assured there’ll be heaps of fun activities throughout the day, including gym time, crazy science, crafts and dramatic play.

The ICC Academy Camp
The International Cricket Council Academy is an important focal point for international cricketing excellence and education. Children in Dubai are among a minority of youngsters with the chance to spend their school holidays training among the best. Situated in Dubai Sports City, the ICC Academy is holding Spring camps for five days starting April 6 and April 13 consecutively for children aged 6-12.

E-Sports Spring Camp
Keep the active ones active through the holidays at the E-Sports sporting bonaza Spring camp. Children participate in five different sports and activities per day including swimming, tennis, football, basketball, arts and craft and more. Kidz Club Spring Camp
If you’re looking for great value for longer days then the kids camp at the well-equipped Grand Hyatt’s kids’ club is bound to impress. There’s a varied programme on offer, including cooking, science experiments, dancing, indoor and outdoor games and excursions, too. Qualified staff will look after the little ones from 9.30am-4pm aged between 5 and 12yrs. Get yourself to the Grand Hyatt Dubai, Oud Metha, because this one also includes lunch.
