18. Host a movie screening.
Shutting the curtains and providing a never-ending stream of popcorn will make the afternoon very exciting!

Get kids to paint tubes of pasta every colour of the rainbow and then thread them together onto string for fun, homemade jewelery.

26. Hit the beach.
We are blessed with beautiful free beaches here in the UAE, so why not make the most of it?

27. Explore the park.
We are spoilt for choice when it comes to parks in Dubai – so why not swing by on your way home from school?

28. Take them swimming.
If your apartment or villa has a pool, head outside for a splash!

29. Explore Dubai and cross the creek.
Choose a different Dubai landmark every week to learn about - and then swing by in the car so they can see the building or area for themselves.
Also, explore Dubai’s rich history by heading to the old town and taking a ride over the creek in an abra to visit the souks.

30. Ride bikes or scooters.
There are plenty of great places to take scooters and bikes in the city. Pick a spot and get racing!

31. Ride public transport.
Whether it’s speeding along in Dubai Metro or a Water Taxi nipping across the Marina, getting home from school on public transport can make an exciting change.

32. Visit a themepark.
If your kids love to burn off energy, why not treat them to an evening trip to a waterpark or adventure park. Try Wild Wadi Waterpark, Aquaventure Waterpark in Atlantis, Adventure HQ, or drive through to Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi for an extra treat!
