Following the success of CreaKids Early Learning Centre in Ibn Battuta Mall, the Norwegian childcare and education brand has opened a brand-new Play Zone for little ones between eight months and ten years old.

The 3,000 square foot Play Zone consists of four supervised trampolines, a towering three-storey play structure with activities and three slides, and five individual role play houses where kids can play doctor, visit a grocery store, or get pampered in an imaginary hair salon.

So what sets it apart from other play areas in the city? Director of CreaKids Dubai, Ibtihal Abu Jarad explains, “We have incorporated learning and play together, whereby the physical aspect taken care of through the motor activities provided, and the cognitive domain is touched upon through puzzles, board games and obstacle courses. The creative aspect is also evident in the different arts and craft and sensory experiences the children are exposed to, and the emotional domain is incorporated in our role play houses where children’s imaginations flow freely and they are allowed to explore. We also host great birthday parties.”

With prices starting from Dhs40 per hour in the Play Zone and from Dhs30 for arts and crafts, it’s also good value. Children under the age of four need to be accompanied by an adult, while older children can be dropped off while you run errands in Ibn Battuta mall. Just make sure you pop a pair of socks in your bag, as everyone needs to wear them in the Play Zone.
