Eid Al Fitr holiday is approaching and families are in for a treat. There’s so much to do over the break and, if you’re worried about the hot weather, here’s the best of indoor entertainment this Eid.

Giant piano, ballerinas and footballers
Head to City Centre Deira to experience a giant walkable piano keyboard or City Centre Mirdiff to catch stilt-walking ballerinas.

At The Outlet Village, Ibn Battuta Mall and Dragon Mart 2, you’ll get to marvel at the wearable art show. You can also watch freestyling footballers at Mall of the Emirates.

The silent clown with his mysterious moving box will make Dubai Festival City Mall his home, so look out for him.

Travel to Neverland
Kids will fly with Peter Pan at the China Court stage in Ibn Battuta Mall, exploring the wonders of Neverland with a live show.

Join Peter, Tinkerbell, Captain Hook and friends as they embark on a new and exciting adventure. The free show will run from the first day of Eid Al Fitr until Saturday June 23.

A traditional Eid at The Dubai Mall
Looking for a more traditional Eid experience? Don’t miss out on the opportunity to meet Sheibitna at The Dubai Mall, a grandfatherly figure who celebrates Eid Al Fitr with children by telling stories and sharing seasonal treats.

Ponyville comes to Dragon Mart 2
Remember the colourful ponies from Ponyville? You can meet the characters at Dragon Mart 2 this Eid at the The My Little Pony Live Show – a 20-minute interactive musical adventure.

Featuring the lovable characters of Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Spike and Applejack, it’ll take place three times a day from the first day of Eid until Sunday June 24, with a special parade taking place over the three days of Eid Al Fitr weekend.

Explore at Children’s City
Head down to Children’s City at Creek Park as the kids investigate, explore, discover and learn about the world we live in through The Earth Science Gallery, Nature Centre and Space Exploration Centre.

Visit on the second and third days of Eid from 4pm-pm. Admission is Dhs10 for children, Dhs14 for adults and Dhs40 for a family package that includes two adults and two children.

Be amazed at Modhesh World
Modhesh World is back for its 19th edition with a line-up that’s packed with entertainment for the whole family.

Head to the amusement park or enjoy live shows at Wonderland Parade with Alice. For a dose of cuteness, visit the Hello Kitty Zone with its traditional Japanese gardens and activities.

Modhesh World will run until Saturday August 25 across Halls 1-8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

This Eid Al Fitr, opening hours are from 10am to midnight. General admission is Dhs25 and children under three play for free.

Escape reality at VR Park
At The Dubai Mall, the whole family can challenge reality through mind-blowing experiences that include horror, adventure, sports and more, with activities for all ages.

The park is open 10am-11pm on weekdays, and 10am-1am on weekends. Entry is free, but credit needs to be purchased in advance to play the games.

Play on ice
Want to ice skate and cycle at the same time? Now you can with IceBykes, available at The Dubai Mall’s Ice Rink.

This new experience will open in June and costs Dhs80 for a 30-minute session. Dubai Ice Rink will be open from 10am-11:45pm during Eid.

We don’t know about you, but we think that’s a lot of fun to be had over the Eid holiday.
