Hayla Ghazal, 20, The YouTuber and boutique owner talks filming and fashion
Time Out Dubai staff
How did you get into video blogging? I interned at a production company and found that I was passionate about filming and presenting. I wanted to make videos after my internship, so I decided to start something of my own. That’s how Hayla TV came to life.
Do you have to spend all your time online? No, even though a lot of what I do is online, I still manage my time between that and my offline life, since I also have my evening and bridal gown boutique, Hayla Couture, to work on.
Biggest challenge? Filming and editing quickly. One video can take me up to two days to complete.
What video has been your most popular so far? My Morning Routine for School video. It racked up more than one million views.
Is the future digital? Definitely. Offline businesses can’t flourish without a digital presence. It’s just incredible!
