Ok, so it's not a local story, but ever since we found out Beyonce was heading for Abu Dhabi we've become obsessed.

And she's not ending her regional tour there. First, the Grand Prix, now a private party in Port Ghalib on November 6, if reports in the news today are to be believed.

The R&B superstar will headline an official launch party for Port Ghalib, a new luxury resort by the Red Sea.

According to the hotel, Beyoncé will arrive at Marsa Alam airport from Istanbul along with a 76-strong entourage the day before the gig.

It is the first time Beyoncé has performed in Egypt and the singer has confirmed the show is part of her I AM... Sasha Fierce global tour.

Beyoncé was one of the first headline artists confirmed for the inaugural Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and will open proceedings in style on October 29.

The Egypt show will be followed by a firework display and beach party. Organisers say charter flights will be increased on the day of the concert allowing people flying from Cairo to Marsa Alam the chance to catch the superstar.

Tickets and packages will go on sale soon and fans are requested to check the hotel website at portghalib.com for more information.
