The UAE Olympic football team has been drawn in the same group as hosts Great Britain for the London 2012 Games.

The UAE were placed in pool A, along with Senegal, who beat Oman in a play-off on Monday night to clinch their place in the tournament, and Uruguay, after today’s draw at Wembley.

The Emirates side will start the competition against Uruguay on July 26 at Manchester United's Old Trafford.

They face Great Britain on July 29 at Wembley Stadium, before their final group game against Senegal on August 1 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
