Dubai clubs to be shut tonight

With a start date for Ramadan yet to be confirmed, the majority of Dubai’s clubs will remain closed tonight.
The night before the Holy Month begins is traditionally a ‘dry’ night. As of this afternoon, a start date for Ramadan remained unconfirmed, but the Holy Month was expected to start on Friday July 20.
Most club-owners across the city told Time Out they were not planning to open tonight.
Clubs and bars closed until after Ramadan include:

People by Crystal
Repulique
Trilogy
Velvet Underground
Zinc
The Maplejacks' gig, planned for this evening at the Irish Village in Garhoud, has also been cancelled. More to follow.
